Specialties
Over time, certain areas of practice have become central to my work.
These specialties reflect both my professional training and the kinds of issues clients most often bring to therapy.
Each paragraph below offers a closer look at how I approach these areas in depth:
Trauma and Healing
Trauma is not only something that happened in the past; it’s the body and mind’s learned pattern of survival in the present. Healing means understanding those patterns and learning new responses. I help clients safely explore their histories, use tools like the Trigger Scale to gauge emotional activation, and work toward living mostly around a “4,” where daily stress supports engagement without anxiety.
Neurodivergence
Neurodivergence is not a flaw; it’s a difference in how attention, emotion, and thinking operate. These differences can bring challenges in daily functioning, but also real strengths — sometimes even superpowers. I help clients develop systems and environments that support their unique attention patterns while also recognizing and leaning into their natural gifts.
